Support for Parents
So your child is interested in property? Don’t know where to start? Here. Or even if you have some understanding of the industry, our resources will supplement your existing knowledge – so you can help them decide better.

Calling all parents! Our Property Needs You challenge is ON!
There are five (yes – FIVE!) internships with some major global property firms, including JLL, Savills and CBRE, up for grabs in the Property Needs You challenge.
All you need to do is check out our Property Needs You Challenge page that details our challenge and share it with the young people in your family (or maybe just share the URL?).
The extended challenge deadline is midnight on 17th January 2024, allowing plenty of time for entry preparation over the holidays.
How to use our resources
You can find out more about the property industry either by yourself before you chat to your child, or together as you go. Depending on the sort of person your child is, you’ll know best what kind of resource they’ll engage best with. That’s why we have a range of activities for different styles of learners.
We're here for you
Chatting to your kids about careers can be confusing, we get it. There’s so much to choose from, and so many routes in. This is where we come in. We have a number of resources such as quizzes, case studies, route explanations, job profiles, and videos to help support you and your child’s conversation.

As with any industry, there are lots of different jobs and fields within property. So maybe your child doesn’t want to plan, but likes designing. Maybe they’re more into conservation than construction. This section will give you more detail about all the different options open to them, and what they need to do to get there.
